What Is Affirm?
Affirm is a financing option that lets you pay for your project over time. You apply directly with Affirm, review the payment options available to you, and choose whether to move forward.
If you complete your payment using Affirm, your invoice with Potomac is paid, and you repay Affirm according to your selected plan.
How It Works

Request an invoice with financing options.
Let us know you’re interested in Affirm. We’ll email you a QuickBooks invoice with a secure payment link. -
Select Affirm and apply.
Open the payment link, choose Affirm, and complete a short application. Checking your eligibility does not affect your credit score. -
Review your payment options.
If approved, you’ll see the available plans, payment amounts, interest rate, and total repayment cost before accepting. -
Choose your plan and complete payment.
Once you complete payment through Affirm, you’ll make your scheduled payments directly to Affirm. Our team will coordinate your project scheduling with you.
What Payment Plans Are Available?
Affirm typically offers monthly payment plans ranging from 3 to 36 months, depending on your eligibility and purchase amount. Available options may include:

Your specific options are determined by Affirm and shown during the application process. Not every customer will qualify for every plan, and a down payment may be required.
Processing Fee
A 3% processing fee applies to payments made through Affirm, similar to our credit card processing fee. This covers our payment processing cost and will be included on your invoice. It is separate from any interest charged by Affirm.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will checking my eligibility affect my credit score?
Checking your eligibility uses a soft credit inquiry and does not affect your credit score. If you accept a payment plan, Affirm reports your loan and repayment activity to credit bureaus.
Is financing interest-free?
Some eligible customers may qualify for 0% APR. Other plans charge interest. Affirm shows your rate and total repayment cost before you accept a plan.
What if I’m not approved?
Please contact our office. We can share information about other financing options for you to explore.
Do I make my monthly payments to Potomac?
No. Once you complete payment using Affirm, your invoice with us is paid. You then make payments directly to Affirm under your selected agreement.
